Education Fund Now Up and Running

As many of you know, we started an Education Fund this past year.  This was the idea of one of our members that would like to see more educational and environmental speakers at the Bengel Wildlife Center.  If any of you attended our 2011 Harvest Social we hosted Mr. Wayne Jackson, a Native American speaker and tribal elder with monies from our Education Fund.

This year we would like to have a speaker for Earth Day and perhaps another later in the year.  Ideally we would like to host two programs a year.  Our intention is that the speakers brought in would educate people of our community about environmental issues that affect Michigan.  The Michigan Wildlife Conservancy would like to help preserve the natural environment that we have been blessed with.

We have a few ideas about speakers we would like to bring in this year.  If you would like to learn more about our Education Fund or the speakers and/or issues we want to present, please contact Jennifer at wildlife@miwildlife.org or call at (517) 641-7677.

If you have heard a speaker that you believe we should consider contact Jennifer.  Your input is very much appreciated.

If you would like to donate to our Education Fund you may use our secure website at http://miwildlife.org/donate-form.asp, download this form http://miwildlife.org/Mail_In_Donation_Form.pdf and identify that your donation is for our Education Fund, or contact Jennifer over the phone at the above phone number.
